A day in Malmö. // Let's walk!

My friend from Falmouth Uni times, Alisa Leimane, organized a photo project called "Let's walk!". Where she connected 2 or more strangers through WhatsApp/telegram for an hour or could continue if want and each person walks through his/her town/place they are at the moment.

It's like taking the other person on the other side of the phone for a walk through their town. But there is a thing, the photos we send to each other kind of need something connected. For example, I send a photo of the sea, the other person maybe sees something that resembles the word "sea", "water", etc.  

She presented this project in Astana Art Festival, Kazakhstan, as also there was a theme for the festival "Future Energy". Astana is a new capital city, only 20 years old! Alisa described:" When you walk through Astana, you feel like in the future. Everything is new here!" She said that our photo collaboration chats with be shown up in the festival on a big TV. Unfortunately, I did not save the photos from the other people, but one was from Falmouth (and nice to see familiar surroundings) and other was from Astana.

 My morning started with Kallbadshuset.

 

After swimming, sauning and sunbathing, time for fika at my favourite cafe. Trubbel.

 

 

 Back to into Malmö.

 

And the best part of the day! Sunset swim at the Malmö beach.

This was an interesting project and a nice happy day!
