Malmö: Explore the countryside // Cycling in Skåne

Explore the countryside by bicycle.
Visiting Garden cafe between Malmö and Lund.

You don't need a fancy bicycle to get around the countryside in Skåne.

We did 50km with our city bikes around the countryside: Malmö - Tirups fika lunch spot - Uppåkra - Lund - Knästorp - Staffanstorp - Malmö. We did a bit over-exceed our possibilities and limitations, as it's not really fun with the city bikes to do such ride which normally I do with my road bike, but this bike trip was all about just fun not exercising and scoring kudos and so on for strava,:).

Still can go for cycle exploring trips with just basic bicycles, which I have done early in my beginning living in Malmö - cycle trip to Dalby.

Tirupträdgård och cafe is a place I have talked about to many people who mention there is nothing outside Malmö nearby. No, there are, just... need to cycle or drive a car. Malin knew this cafe and garden shop, and as I call her the green Malin, a gardener, we had to go there together. So many plants we would have liked to buy, but couldn't carry on the bikes. Recommend to visit this garden shop!

At the cafe, they serve everything from all-eaters to vegan. Vegan is not in a wide range, but usually, there is at least one vegan meal and several vegetarian. They have several raw cakes or veganish cakes to try! They all are amazingly delicious that's why I keep returning here or when I and Viktor go for cycling training, it's a definitive fika stop!

Go see and try yourself!

Oh, this has been my wish for so long... To bring fresh morning coffee from a cafe to home! And finally had a chance, we had no coffee at home. A good coffee before the trip to the countryside. /Yes, sorry, not zero waste/

On the way to Lund and a small village next to Lund to see where Malin grow up.

Back to Malmö for vegan pizza dinner.
